So wut up?  It is December and almost Christmas time.  I’m happy.

Need For Speed Undercover was an easy, really stupid, and overall fun game.  I loved the fact that I didn’t need the most powerful cars in the game, or need to actually bust my ass to win.  Midnight Club: LA really irritated me to no ends and to find the opposite to that beast of a game has soothed me.  The story is actually great really stupid but it kept me going.  Definately rent if you want to kill a weekend.

Beat Mirror’s Edge.  Easy as well, though kinda frustrating towards the end.  Not worth $60 bucks but maybe $30.

Saw Transporter 3 and other than the stupid romantic bullshit, it was actually really awesome.  Great fighting and overall just a fun movie.  Go see it if you like the series.

Quatum of Solace finally solidified what the Bond series is trying to do.  A complete series reboot, a la Batman.  I can now enjoy it in peace.  Good film.  Fixed all the crap that was wrong with Casino Royale.

Still hooked on Gears of War 2.  Really am enjoying it though the reset of all of my achievements was a real pisser-offer (say what?).  No worries, I am not an achievement whore.

Shaun White’s Snowboarding was a bust.  I was fun after you get a better board but overall still kinda just meh.  The special powers and stat-based boards took me out of the simulation.

Heroes still sucks.

Chuck is still awesome.

Prison Break still great as well.

The Shield is over and I must say, I was quite satisfied.  The series as a whole was damn near perfect and the finale was pretty much what you would expect.  The stories wrapped up pretty nicely.  You get a little guessing but overall each person’s fate is spelled out.  Amazing series.  Great job to all that worked on it and Michael Chiklis is one of the greatest actors on television.

Well, that is enough for now.  I’m bored.  Back to work.  Ohhh almost time to go home.

Random: 11/13

Sup homies?  Just a heads up I will be out of town for a week on business so there may not be an update.  Anyway onto my thoughts.

 

First up, what the hell is wrong with NBC?  Pulling My Own Worst Enemy is a stupid move.  Let me back up.  The show has officially been cancelled.  They are filming the 9th episode now and it will be the last.  Hopefully they at least air it.  My biggest issue is the fact that Heroes is allowed to go on while this great show gets the ax.  True one of the episodes was kinda bad, but seriously, 3 out of 4 good is a, well good thing.  Anyway, my heart goes out to Christian Slater.  You should all know how awesome he is to me.

In other news, I am addicted to Gears of War 2.  I bought the limited edition since I got a free tank with it (awesome by the way).  I now have a cool golden lancer so I can look like a douche whenever I go to kill little bastards online.  The story was short but good and had some genuine heart.  I really felt for Dom.  Cole Train is still my favorite character.  Some of his lines are priceless but I really wish he had another rap song.  I still listen to that.  See you on the battleground kids.

Mirror’s Edge and Shaun White Snowboarding come out this week.  I’m buying them.  Don’t care how good/bad they are.  Mirror’s Edge is putting up some decent numbers so that looks promising.

There is a new Batman show on tomorrow night.  Batman: The Brave and the Bold.  Like in the comics when he teams up with other heroes.  The show looks pretty kiddy, but I don’t care.  It is Batman.  Yeah.

Not really happy about our election.  It’s funny because everyone thinks I voted for McCain because he was white.  Not the case.  I didn’t vote for Obama because of his health care and other BS he was trying to pass.  That and he is a fake person.  Just some cardboard cutout with no depth.  I mean he already took off his “plan” from his website.  He is more concerned about getting a dog than what to do with the country.

Personally I would have voted for Colin Powell.  I repsect him and everything he has done.  Didn’t have a choice in this election.  Had to vote for the “safe” bet.  Meaning I knew what I was getting.  We have no idea what is going to happen.  It will either be the greatest thing ever or a complete disasater.  I hope for the former but am planning for the later.

Enough politics. 

Can’t wait for Wall-e on DVD.  Loved that movie.  Really want to watch it again.

One last thing on Gears 2.  Matchmaking sucks.  I mean really terrible.  It takes like 5 or 10 minutes sometime to get a match.  Then there are those that leave because they don’t get the map or game type they want.  True, I don’t want to play submission all the time but honestly it is a game.  Plus the ranking system doesn’t work.  It is stupid.

Happy Halloween suckas.

So Smallville this season is just awesome.  Green Arrow as “Superman” was sweet.  The same with the whole, lose the cape line.  Just great.  Next weeks episode has Kara aka Supergirl back.  Gonna be a good season.  Keep it up writers.

Supernatural as well is awesome.  The whole legend of Sam Hain was cool.  Plus the story plot points that poured out in this episode.  Wow!

So, changing subjects, I downloaded the Mirror’s Edge demo for the PS3.  Surprisingly the game is great.  The first person perspective is really immersive and it works.  There is a head bob, but not too much and the way the screen inverts when you roll is cool, disorienting, and extremely well done.  Really good game so far, I’m just curious how long it will be.

I’m addicted to Red Bull Cola.

I am officially a fan of the Gym Class Heroes.  Their rap is a little too boy bandish, but their execution is straight up The Roots or N.E.R.D. circa their first album.  Good stuff.

I’m addicted to Midnight Club Los Angeles.  The AI is cheap, unfare, and really pissing me off.  I win some races, but lose others when I should have won.  For some reason I can’t put it down though that will probably change when Gears 2 drops next week.

Beef Taco Hot Pockets are the greatest Hot Pockets brand flavor.
